Happy Thanksgiving! Merry Christmas! Happy New Year!
So many great holidays to celebrate during this time of year. For me this is both a time of celebration and spiritual renewal. I get to begin the season thanking God for blessing me in so many ways over the past year. Then I get to roll into a season of celebrating the greatest blessing God has ever given me, my Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ! Then I get to wrap up the holiday season celebrating a new year with a fresh hope for all that I will accomplish and the ways that God will bless me. It is very similar to the way a new Christian experiences new life and new hope as they begin living a life with Christ in charge.
One of the things I love to do during this holiday season is give gifts to my neighbors and friends. I enjoy this part of the holiday season even more than receiving gifts. One of my favorite things to do is pull out the plethora of cookie cutters I have collected and inherited and make cookies to take to my neighbors. (At last count, I have approximately 100 Christmas cookie cutters, alone. Plus at least a 100 more of other seasons and things.) I take this activity very seriously as you can see in the picture above. This is a nativity scene I did for a Toastmasters party a few years ago.
So here is my question, assuming that I will take each neighbor approximately 6-12 decorated cookies, what should my cookie theme be for this year?
