I love the outdoors! As often as I can, I like to open the windows and let the outside air freshen the stale processed air from the heating and air conditioning unit. When we lived in Pulaski, VA, we did not use an air conditioner. Open windows were the norm and I loved it. Since being in South Carolina, I have had limited ability to have open windows. Because our house is a rental and had been through a foreclosure before that, the windows had not been cleaned in ages. All of them were filthy and most of them had wasps nests and creepy crawlies that had built homes in them. I was afraid to open the windows because said wasps and creepy crawlies might think it was an invitation into our home.
Today, I could not take it anymore. The temperature was in the 70's and there was a beautiful breeze. So I spent most of the day dismantling, cleaning, and reassembling the storm windows and primary windows. Now, I can sit in my office and enjoy the fresh air. True bliss! Even Kona the Cat is enjoying the chance to sit in the window. (cell phone picture so the quality is low)
